The weekend funn

This weekend i was in downtown with some friends from a high school that played mine. They are older then i am though, anwayyy. They live close to where my roomie lives and she went home this weekend so i just tagged along :) so me, kathryn!, ish(jacob), autumn, all went on a roadtrip. That night i met up with margo, we went to a dinky thetare LOL and then we just hung out that night. now, SATURDAYYY was the funnest. Margo, her bf, and i went to a football game for a little bit, then we saw post grad at the nice theatre (reminded me of highland village back hoome!) and then we were off to downtown nashville. We walked around and saw some interesting people. It was so fun. Weather was absolutely PERFECT (like it has been for a super long time) We then ate at DEMO's which is soooo good. We dont have one in texas, well not that i know of! We didnt get back home until 12:30-ish. Then sunday we just got taco bell and chilled at the park :) we HAD to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Around 5 i met up with my roomie kathryn and i met her grandpa who is the nicest old man! I love her family! we hung out there for a bit and then went to pick up ISH and then we were on our way.
(notice we are missing one person? that is a long story which i will not post on here)
Longggggg drive, well it seemed like a really long drive cause we were all ready to get back to UU!
We made our first walmart trip which was quite fun. and now im broke. wonderfullll..

UNION UNIVERSITYYYYY

Hellooo. Its been a super long time since ive last blogged. but that will slowly start to change, (i think)

k so im in college noww! I'll try to make this the readers digest version of my time at union so far.

ok so move in day went so smoothly. The upperclassmen were so nice! we got all my 10 cardboard medium size boxes out of the truck and in my room in about a total of 5 minutes! it was so awesome. It sounded like college, they were playin cool music, blaring some somewhere that i could not find! but it was such a great day. Before we moved in, we got my Dawg Tag (ID-we are the bulldogs, hence the dawg tag) and got all the paperwork filled out. got my dorm key :) and then my lovely student id, which i must admit, isnt to horrible. I can live.

I have a handicapped dorm, however, none of us are handicapped. Oh well :)
I have two roomies, kathryn and autumn. We laugh a lot :)

We had a parent/student chapel later on and it was how our parents were trusting the university with us and all that mushy gushy stuff. Then we had to say goodbye. I did cry just a tad but i was so excited about college, i didnt have room in my head to even think about being sad!

We were then dismissed to a refreshment break which i met a few new people there :) i lost count!

THEN we had the greatest thing that ive been to at union so far!

FOCUS SHOW

this was the greatest. first we were all filed in the chapel. Talk about a long line! and the upperclassmen (FOCUS leaders) made a tunnel and we walked through them and the chapel is all dark with strobe lights and colored lights and people that were making the tunnel were dancin and they had awesome music blaring. It was so great. People were even on chairs dancing! and yes they were dancing to rap music LOL. then once we all got settled in the chapel. The FOCUS leaders danced down the aisle to high school musicals "We're all in this together" and they did the dance on stage and showed the scene from the movie on the screen behind them. LEGIT. the rest of the night consisted of loud music and skits. very fun. Then it was off to the dorms for the night!

I love college. Best thing ever. Wayyyy better than high school for sureeee. I have good professors, good classes. Still working on finding my group of friends. Of course i have some already but i havent found my gang yet.

Wellll idk what else to sayyy lol this is a long post! geeez.....you're welcome savannah =)

Rainy Day

Hey there!
It was a very much boring day when it should have been quite exciting. I went "dorm shopping" with my mom right? Well that was a lie, i went "bed spread" shopping. How lame, i could have done that on my own! I wanted to get other stuff, which i had money for, but she wants to wait to see what people get me. So once again, we are "procrastinating" which im starting to HATE! so i will NOT be a procrastinator in college!! Uh.

So now, I just got even more excited about college because I'll be able to do what i want, when i want. and i dont mean that in a rebellious way but when i need something done, i can do it and no depend on anyone else. =)

Well, it looks like my day is gonna be quite the boring one =(

Welll heyy there :)
I'm excited to start blogging! I always have a lot on my mind and a lot to say. I just wanted to write this first post to say what i'll basically be blogging about.
I leave for college in about 3 weeks. Have i gone shoppping yet? ha nope! I am tomorrow hopefully so i'll be blogging about that after.
Anyway..personally i always wanted to know what college was like through an actual college student. Not just those people in videos who say its alllll of these wonderful things when it's definately not. I will be totally honest about Union University:)
I leave in 26 days! How crazy, i dont feel old enough to go to college! woahhh.

well im getting sleepy. so i will blog tomorrow about my shopping adventure!
